The Faculty of Eastern Medicine in collaboration with ORIC, hosted a high-quality Faculty Training Program on November 26–27 at Hamdard University, Karachi. Designed successful careers, this career-focused program equipped participants with practical knowledge and innovative teaching methodologies. Under the guidance of experienced faculty with an enterprising personality and a fearless attitude, participants explored essential topics in research and education.
Day 1 highlights included a compelling session by Prof. Dr. Arshad Mahmood, who emphasized the Principles of Ethics in Animal Research, focusing on ensuring ethical practices and minimizing harm in scientific studies. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Ahmad conducted an engaging hands-on training session on cell culture techniques, showcasing their application in drug testing and disease modeling to advance biomedical research.
Day 2 Highlights featured Prof. Dr. Sheikh Abdul Saeed introducing Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and curriculum development, followed by an engaging interactive session on designing PBL scenarios and case discussions.
All of this took place in a nurturing environment, supported by Hamdard University robust campus facilities, ensuring an enriching and transformative experience for all participants.
